Introduction

This document is a collection of memorabilia, data pictures and drawings from the tramways in the South West. They are not arranged to form an article but rather to make a series of Showcases which the visitor can browse through, investigating items of interest more thoroughly. It owes its existence to John Perkin, a member of the SWEHS, who has collected nearly all the data provided here. Peter Davey is providing the information on the Bristol Bath and Weston systems. Thanks are also due to Terry Russell for permission to use his PSU Tramcar Drawings and John Gillham for the Track Layouts used. ( Contact Details at end of document)

Web Masters Notes

The Tramways section only works if you have Javascript enabled in your browser. Copies of the Tramcar Drawings and Track layouts are available from the contacts listed at the end of this document.

The pictures and drawings that appear, as you scan the documents, are often small images of the main drawing, which will appear when you click on the simple image with your mouse. Allow time for the large image to load. (Broadband helps!) The presence of a larger image is indicated by the cursor changing to a hand as you move the mouse over the image. The position of the large image can be moved using the grey "dragbar" over the top of the image. This also provides a "close" image facility at the right hand end. Alternatively if the cursor changes to a + sign on the image then clicking on the image will change the size of it to fill the window, clicking again returns it to normal size.
